Rewarding Academic Excellence at Red Rose School

Today, I left the office for Red Rose School to take part in one of the school’s most important institutional events: The Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony. During the ceremony, gifts such as: Mathematical instruments, crayons and notebooks were given to students of proven talent and academic excellence.
These are highly motivated children with big dreams and pursuing the same with zeal and zest. The target of some is to be outstanding in business; of others, to craft international companies, to become exceptional lawyers, or give impetus to social projects that will aid to progress the world. Although they may have different professional objectives, these students have one thing in common; better themselves and better the world. Kudos to The Red Rose teaching staff and Children of Kibera Foundation for such a motivating gesture.

‘I feel great having received this many presents,
they give me the motivation to work harder for
I want to be a doctor’.
