Mobile Telephony in The Learning Process

Last week, Red Rose students in seventh and eighth grades had the opportunity to be introduced to a very innovative and fun way of studying. They were taken through the nuts and bolts of using mobile telephony in their learning process by a representative from Mprep.

Chris Asego- Operations Director at MPrep spent some time with our students to take them through this innovative technological model of learning. The key points highlighted were that: kids could study and evaluate their work while teachers and parents could use the data obtained to adjust their engagement approaches with their children. A set of five questions in each subject comes at a cost of USD 0.0375
With mobile penetration in Kenya currently standing at 75.4% we encourage our students and parents to embrace this dynamic mode of studying to supplement what they get from school.

“What I like about the program is that in mathematics,
it gives the students a step-by-step approach on how they arrive at the solution.”
